Entry for GBJam 12; secondary theme was "Spooky!"

Our design intent setting out was to prototype a skill-based gameplay mechanic that felt unique & fun to use. We focused it's use within combat scenarios (with a sprinkle of traversal) for the jam, but are excited to explore how we can expand it into puzzle-solving as well. This was our first time creating a pixel-based GameBoy style game, as well as Micheala & John's very first game jam experience! 👏👏👏 It was a blast!!
